It is important to us that you feel safe when using our website, platforms and services (collectively referred to as “Sites”). At Whizzard, you have choices and control in how we handle your personal data. This Privacy Policy includes important information about your personal data and we encourage you to read it carefully.

“Whizzard”, “we”, “our” or “us” means the Whizzard entity responsible for the collection and use of personal data under this Privacy Policy. Whizzard reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to alter and update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We therefore invite you to review the current version of the Privacy Policy each time you return to our Sites.  


When we collect and use your data, it’s always in the interest of delivering exceptional services and improving your experience. We collect information and data from you in two ways. First, we collect information you manually provide to us, including registration information like your name and email address. Second, we collect information automatically from your use of our Sites, including how and when they are used.


By using our Sites, you acknowledge your understanding of and agree to the collection, use, and storage of your personal data as described in this detailed Privacy Policy. Whizzard might use your personal data to fulfil your request, personalise content that you view or receive, evaluate and improve our services, distribute newsletters and alerts to you or process your job application. Whizzard may also disclose such information to third party service providers in aggregate for marketing and promotional purposes. However, in these situations, we do not disclose to these entities any information that could be used to personally identify you.  

By browsing our Sites and submitting this information to us, you explicitly agree to Whizzard using your personal data for the purposes and in the manner described in this Privacy Policy. Please do not send us any information you do not wish Whizzard to use.


Our processing of your personal data for the purposes mentioned above is based:

  • in part, on our legitimate interests in promoting and protecting Whizzard, building and maintaining relationships, recruitment, better respond to inquiries, send service notices and provide customer support and to develop new products and services;

  • in part, on your consent, for example if you register for our newsletters or alerts, or for business purposes that support web operations such as understanding and enhancing the quality of your experience on our Sites, to constantly improve our website to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner;

  • in part, to manage risk and comply with the law, when certain information is necessary to satisfy our legal or regulatory obligations and to protect the Sites and you from fraud, abuse and other illegitimate activities.


Whizzard will not intentionally disclose or transfer (and will take reasonable steps to prevent the unauthorised or accidental disclosure of) your personal data to third parties without your consent or as otherwise permitted by law, whether for such third parties’ own marketing purposes or otherwise, except as follows. We maintain processes designed to ensure that any processing of personal data by third party service providers is consistent with this Privacy Policy and protects the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of your personal data.

In addition, we may disclose information about you:

  • If we are required to do so by law or legal process and to law enforcement authorities

  • When we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity;

  • If disclosure is necessary to protect the vital interests of a person;

  • To enforce our Terms of use and to protect our property, services and legal rights;

  • To prevent fraud against Whizzard, our subsidiaries, affiliates and/or business partners;

  • To support auditing, compliance, and corporate governance functions; or

  • To comply with any and all applicable laws.


In addition, we may disclose or transfer your personal data in the event of a re-organization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, or other transfer or disposition of all or any portion of our business.


You should be aware that whenever you publicly disclose information online, that information could be collected and used by others. Whizzard is not responsible for any action or policies of any third parties who collect information that users publicly disclose in any such forums on the Sites.


Whizzard may provide links to third party websites or information as a service to our users. If you use these links, you will leave the Sites. Such links do not constitute or imply an endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation by Whizzard of the third party, the third-party website, or the information contained therein, and Whizzard shall not be responsible or liable for your use thereof. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit, as we do not have control over their content or policies. They are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Whizzard does not bear any liability and responsibility for the content or your use of these websites. 

The Sites may make available certain features and functionality that allow you to sign into our Sites using third party login credentials (such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google+ and others) or access certain third-party services. Any data you submit to any third party services will be subject to the terms of service and privacy policy of such third-party services.


By associating your social network account with Whizzard or logging in to a Whizzard account using your social network account credentials, you give us permission to access information that you have made available in your public profile for that social network account. The information may include your email address, real name, profile picture, gender, and location.



Whizzard considers protecting the security of your data a key responsibility and we have implemented generally accepted standards of technology and operational security to protect personal data from loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction. Such measures include anonymizing or pseudonymizing data where possible. Authorised Whizzard personnel and third parties mentioned above will only have access to your personal data to the extent they need it to do their job or provide their services. These employees and service providers are required to treat this information as confidential. Please be aware, however, that no method of transmitting information over the Internet or storing information is completely secure or safe. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information or that unauthorized persons will not obtain access to your personal data.  


Whizzard may retain the personal data we collect from you as described in this Privacy Policy for as long as you use our Sites & services or as necessary to fulfil the purpose(s) for which it was collected, provide our services, resolve disputes, establish legal defences, conduct audits, pursue our legitimate interests, for our business or commercial purposes, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable laws. If you request that we delete your personal data, Whizzard will make reasonable attempts to delete all instances of the information in their entirety.


The Sites are not designed for or directed at children 16 years of age or younger, and Whizzard does not intentionally collect or maintain personal data about anyone under this age.

Where granted by applicable law, you may have the right to request access to the personal data that we have collected about you for the purposes of reviewing, modifying, or requesting deletion of the data. You may also have the right to request a copy of the personal data that we have collected about you and to have any inaccuracies in that data corrected. In certain circumstances, you may also request that we cease processing your personal data.


If you have registered for Whizzard newsletter or alerts, or you receive invitations to survey or events from Whizzard and you prefer not to receive future email communications from us, please review the communications settings in your profile on, follow the instructions on the page of the Site where you have provided such information, subscribed or registered or write to to unsubscribe from all Whizzard communications.
